Steel Mace: Tidal Flow

I named this flow 'Tidal" due to the shifting / swaying of weight and energy. Once you have the pattern down, apply activations, I typically rip on the archer and lateral lunge and crush on the gravedigger, but experiment and go where the energy takes you. PATTERN LEVEL: ADVANCED Stages of the Tidal Flow Reverse lunge 360 Lateral lunge Gravedigger to lunging archer Top switch Lateral lunge Work hard but within your limits and most importantly have fun when you workout.

Steel Mace: Susano'o Flow

PATTERN LEVEL: ADVANCED The Susano'o Flow: Begin in seiza (kneeling position). Step forward with your left foot and 360 the mace with your right hand. Step up and out into a lateral lunge and apply a rip activation. Inside 360 coming to rest on your shoulders (draw hand away for a soft landing). Drop 360 and return to lateral lunge applying the rip activation again. Step across and behind into a dragon lunge with an archer. Step up then drop into a switch squat, hit a crush activation. Reverse lunge with your left knee down and execute a left hand 360, beginning the pattern again on the opposite side. Work hard but within your limits and most importantly have fun when...

Steel Mace: Crush Rip Snap Complex

This complex is activations focused, meaning that you apply pressure / tension to the mace handle. Crush, rip and snap hard with this one and reap the rewards. Begin in the standing horizontal middle position with an over under grip. Squat - Crush the mace together. Lateral lunge - Rip the mace apart. Step up into a double over switch.  Raise the head of the mace to vertical Opposite hand tracks up - Palm forward with thumb down Reverse lunge with an overhead press - Snap the mace in half. Step up and bring mace up to chest. Spin mace around and go into squat. Work hard but within your limits and most importantly have fun when you workout.
